The vision

This is the spine of the school — the hallway every student walks a dozen times a day. Right now it's clean but blank, still wearing the building's past. The vision brings it home: a warm runner down the center, the Harvest Academy name and mission on the wall, and Scripture that students will read so often they'll know it by heart. It's a calm, beautiful, beginner-friendly project — and one of the most meaningful, because it's where the school's identity literally lines the walls.

What you'd be doing

Rolling out a patterned runner (with a non-slip pad underneath), then laying out and hanging a gallery of framed signs and prints — the school mission, the Harvest Academy logo, wheat-field art, and two Scripture pieces — straight, level, and evenly spaced. The whole thing is a single afternoon for a family with a good eye and a level. No special skills needed.

  • Long patterned runner rug (measure hall length first)
  • Non-slip rug pad sized to the runner

  • 2 wheat / botanical prints in wood-tone frames
  • Navy "Harvest Academy" H-monogram logo sign
  • Scripture sign — "Let your light shine." (Matthew 5:16)
  • Scripture sign — "Be strong & courageous." (Joshua 1:9)

  • Optional leaning wood "Harvest Academy" floor sign
  • Microfiber cloths and wall cleaner
Tools needed

Site notes

Measure the full corridor before buying the runner — you'll likely need a 12 ft+ runner or two placed end-to-end. Several signs (mission, logo, scripture art) appear custom-printed; a local print shop or online custom-frame service can match the look. Walls are standard drywall, so anchors are fine. Keep the AED cabinet clear and visible — do not let the gallery crowd it (safety + likely code requirement). Floor, paint, trim, and lighting stay as-is.
